Highland Hills Farm began nearly 35 years ago as a young girl's dream. That dream had Breyer horses and green carpet fields.
In 1996, the dream farm started to become reality with a humble 3 acre parcel in Raymond, NH and one horse, Adam. The Highland Cattle were added to the dream after the owners went for a drive around town and saw the unusual cattle belonging to a former teacher. The farm was officially established in 2003 with the purchase of the first registered Scotch Highland, Samson. Soon after, the farm added a breeding cow, Delilah, and began to flourish.
In late 2003, the current property in Belmont (technically Northfield) was purchased and site work began. By August of 2004, the construction of the buildings were almost done; a 4-stall barn with full loft and the Mix residence. Shortly after relocating to the new facility, the herd grew with its first calf, Dennis, another cow, Zoe, and another horse, Dillon.
Now 5 years later the farm is growing again. Adding three more stalls to the existing barn to make a total of seven stalls, adding a tractor barn for the equipment and a 120x70 riding ring, the owners' opened the facility to boarders. Known for easy accessibility to great trails and a relaxing and quiet atmosphere- Highland Hills Farm has a lot to offer to all disciplines of riders.
